Foodivry - Journey and Android App Review

Hey Guys we have just launched our android app for Foodivry & the team is super duper excited. This is Sahil Technical Director at ALS Foodivry Infotech Private Limited & also one of the co-founder.

For those who don't know Foodivry is an online food ordering portal in Jammu. We have been working on this model for past 2 years and honestly speaking we have been through a lot to come to this day.

Evolution of Foodivry


  • Started as a startup in Jammu

  • Launched Tiffin Service in association with Magic Kitchen Tiffin
  • Launched Catering Portal in Jammu
  • Launched Foodivry Bakery in association with the cake vendors in Jammu

  • Became Registered as a Private limited company
  • Got recoznised by Govt. of India as a startup under startup india Initiative

Android App Review

Pros

  • Our Android app is easy to use , fast , has tons of features and runs seamlessly on even 2G network.
  • The UI is simple to understand.
  • The Size of App is 21 Mb only.
  • App has both online & offline mode of payment including pickup option.
  • User can save address and can use the pre-order function to easily order the previously ordered items .
  • Social login via facebook and Email  is also available.

Cons

  • When the connection is fluctuating app throws server connectivity issues
  • If the pincode is incorrect or doesn't fall under the vicinity of a restaurant app doesn't accept the order.
